Data collection of Alumni A successful initiation is the one which builds a strong network with its alumni which is the reflection of its past, representation of its present and link to the future. To maintain a good relation with our proud Alumni, Alumni decide to send a Google form to fill by the alumni of UCK and we got responses around 300 alumni.
Fund Raising campaign for the purchase of laptops for students of UCEK As we all know that the corona pandemic has made a global impact in the past year and continues to hit most of the sectors and its clear that the educational system was one of the most affected ones. The educational institutions are completely shut down and the students are forced to pass through a very tough time. Mode of teaching has been transformed from traditional classroom to E-learning methodology. The effectiveness of online learning depends on the fact that the students have proper means to avail the online facility. It is the responsibiity of educational institution to ensure the same without fail. As a part of this analysis we have found that there are few students who cannot afford computer or laptops to avail the E-learning facilities. Due to this fact they are being badly affected. So Alumni decide to raise a campaign to collect a small contribution from our alumni for those needy students and ensure them a better future.
Laptop Distribution Ceremony During this corona pandemic situation the educational institutions are completely shut down and the mode of teaching has been transformed from traditional classroom to E-learning methodology. As a part of this analysis we have found that there are few students who cannot afford computer, tablets, or laptops to avail the e-learning facilities. Because of this we approach our alumni to help our students. Our proud alumni contribute an amount around Rs1,00,000 for the purchase of 3 laptops and 3 tablets for the financially backward students. These laptops and tablets will get rotated to lower batches after their semester ending.
The University College of Engineering Kariavattom successfully organized its Alumni Meet 2025 at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium, bringing together alumni, faculty, and students for a memorable gathering.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Thasnim, College Union Chairman, followed by the Presidential Address and Inauguration by Prof. (Dr.) Bisharathu Beevi A, Principal of UCEK.
A special highlight of the event was the Memento Distribution Ceremony honoring the toppers of the 2025 batch. The felicitation session featured distinguished alumni including Sajitha Rani G L (Treasurer, Alumni Association), Rohith M S (Software Developer, Sasoft Technologies, 2016 Batch), Akhil A S (Front-end Lead, Sasoft Technologies, 2018 Batch), and Vysakh Nair (V-Council, Qi Group; Director, Hi Ayurveda, 2015 Batch).
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful and inspiring reunion that strengthened the bond between the institution and its alumni community.
